Twitch Modpacks are built to work with Twitch (obviously you can use them through MultiMC too). If you want the mods just get the mods listed/download and install the pack through Twitch/MultiMC and use another launcher like the Vanilla one or MultiMC with a custom instance.

So I got Minecraft and I logged in, and I pressed the play button. It started to download, but when its almost done, the text appears in the download bar "downloading twitch-external-platform-4.5-native-windows-64.jar" can someone please tell what that means and how I can fix it. Replace minecraft.exe with launcher from this website (Link below) Go to Twitch/Curse launcher and click Play button on Modpack you want to play; As launcher opens up enter random username and click Options button; In options menu check Stay Logged In and hit Done (!!!This NEEDS to be done else it won't work!!!) Click on Play button and wait Download and open Minecraft.dmg. Drag Minecraft to your Applications folder to install it. Then run game just like you would any other application. Of course some people won't have this problem or may get this problem later once the mods have moved on to the newest forge version etc.
